Asclepias Physocarpas Again

These pods are fascinating me this year. I haven't seen them dry and open like this so I worked with a light table and took more shots of them. Thought they turned out pretty great.

Richards "bungie cord" rework on the basket is a classic "greatest generation"
repair job!!! Frank was always fond of quoting "form follows function" whenever I ventured to critique his elaborate steel, lag-bolt, rivet fix of a broken six dollar plastic lawn chair. Somehow, I don't think that was what Frank Lloyd Wright had in mind.

Ok, now I've read most of your old postings and I have had a lot of laughs! Really funny stuff.
When you watch movies do you take notes ? I picture a one man Mystery Science Theater 3000 voice over commentary.
Your private view into an octagenarian world is good reading.
Now I understand why we need liquor stores that have fast home delivery.
