I can just see the two moving guys hired for the Scopitone shoot who had to move those things. Cigars in there mouths and after lugging them to the spot, they were done with them after about 30 seconds. Gassin' and crabbin'. I admit to loving chimes in a song and here Jody plays the air chimes. She is also sporting a very groovy striped mini skirt. Designers take note.

Wouldn't the world be a better place if there were 4 swingin' chicks in bikinis or groovy skirts just doing a mad Monkey jerk trucking down the sidewalk randomly everywhere? Just look out your window and BOOM! they are sashaying by. It would make my day I know.

Who is Donna Theodore? Not much info on her in searches. I guess a stage actress and singer who, it seems, Johnny Carson must have taken a shine to cuz she seemed too appear on the Tonight show a number of times. She has sort of a Pleshette quality.
The song is strange and the last lyrics after pondering what femininity is, she comes to the conclusion that all the work she does doesn't really matter because when she exudes too much femininity she always ends up on her back staring at the ceiling anyway. Yowza! And all the grabbing by the guys, geez.
